Corgi 499 Citroen Safari 1968 Winter Olympics "Grenoble".

Description.
White Citroen safari with a blue roof and tail gate which opens. A red roof rack is atop with a pair of yellow ski's and poles. On the front bonnet is a bright 'Grenoble' transfer. The model has a blue interior, silver spun shaped wheels and a grey base with black tyres. Underneath is a ring that when moved raises the back seats up and down and the model is finished with full working suspension. Inside the box is a skier and a toboggan and sportsman.

Condition. Very, Near Mint.
Minor marking only  with a tiny casting mark on bonnet front tip. The transfer has minimal loss only. Everything is there as produced.

Box. Near Mint.
The window box style is very delicate to damage but this box has survived very well. The inner card is bright and without damage and includes the instruction leaflet bespoke to this model. The outer box is also very nice, the card is bright with superb graphics the end flaps are firm and in close to mint condition. The cellophane (original) has only the tiniest crack along the front edge, it could not be no smaller. No pricing.

Summary.
A superb and sought after Corgi model complete with a very nice box.
