Spot On 157SL Rover 3 Litre

£140.00 (Sold out)

Spot On 157SL Rover 3 Litre   Excellent Plus-Near Mint.   Issued 1963

Spot On made by Triang were originally launched in 1959 produced in Belfast Northern Ireland. Their production was short lived and ceased when Triang bought dinky toys in 1967. Today they are highly sought after models by the collector. Good boxes are even harder to find as the construction was not as strong as those of competitor makers.

This model is in Beige with off white seats, windows, silver wheels and black tyres. It also is the “lights version” and has a battery compartment in base. Complete with lighting assembly instructions and model collectors card.

Condition.  Excellent Plus-Near Mint.
Paintwork has a lovely bright sheen. Model has some box rubbing on raised edges with particular emphasis on the left side around door panels. Other than this only occasional tiny nicks. Silvering, tyres, windows and base all fine.

Box.   Excellent.
Complete with all flaps. 2 side flaps have been taped for strengthening. Price sticker on one end. No defacing and very presentable.

So hard to find these Spot On models in great condition but this one is close.
Very presentable for show.

Model has not been tested with batteries for lights therefore, no guarantee they still operate.
